NON GMO soya flour

At Van Zutven, NON GMO Hipro soy is ground ultra-fine, for application in calf and piglet milk powders, among others. Very fine granulometry, small dispersion and high consistency; these are the main product characteristics of Van Zutven Group's NON-GMO Hipro soybean flour.

Soy protein has a high biological value. This means that the ratio of amino acids in the protein is favourable for the growth of calves and piglets. Amino acids are the building blocks for animal protein. For this reason, soybean flour can be an interesting product to supplement milk powders for calves and piglets.

Solubility

However, soybean meal is by nature poorly soluble. And that is where Van Zutven's expertise comes around the corner; ultra-fine grinding of soybean meal, into flour. For various customers, soy products smaller than 200 µm, smaller than 100 µm or even smaller than 80 µm are milled. This particle size, or granulometry, is important for the degree of digestibility and absorption in the young animal's gut. During the milling process, the product is further dehydrated by a few percent, which increases the protein content per tonne of product, as well as the running properties of the product.

Sustainability

Discussions are currently taking place about the pros and cons of using soy products in Dutch feed & food. Van Zutven only buys soy products from recognised companies in the Netherlands. In addition, Van Zutven processes these products without the use of natural gas, using electricity from our own solar panels. The released residual heat is reused in our climate system.
